Individual Advocacy

What is Advocacy?

Advocacy means helping ensure that the rights, interests, and views of children and youth are considered when decisions are made about them.

At YCAO, our role is to stand beside young people and make sure they have the opportunity to be heard. We believe children and youth should be active participants in their own lives, and that their voices matter.
